SI HAY OTRO DÍA 

En la noche de Navidad del año 2000, mi vecino se cruzó hasta casa y nos regaló a nuestra familia una tarjeta hecha de forma casera, con un  corto, bellísimo y contundente poema de esperanza.
En la noche de fin de año, una semana después, cuando mi vecino se cruzó a saludarnos, le devolví su poema pero en forma de canción.
Así nació lo que llamamos "Si hay otro día" y que hasta el día de hoy, veinte años después, sigo pensándola, cantándola para mis adentros y dedicándosela a este enorme escritor que se llamó Alberto Ortiz, "El Negro" para quienes tuvimos la fortuna de disfrutarlo en vida.

On Christmas night in 2000, my neighbor crossed over to our house and gave our family a homemade card with a short, beautiful and powerful poem of hope.
On New Year's Eve, a week later, when my neighbor passed by to greet us, I returned his poem but in song form.
Thus was born what we call "If there is another day" and that to this day, twenty years later, I continue to think about it, singing it to myself and dedicating it to this enormous writer named Alberto Ortiz, "El Negro" for whom we had the fortune to enjoy it in life.
